Location: Normanton, West Yorkshire
Salary: Circa £58,000 + 8% bonus
Reports to: Senior Manager, Operations & Supply Chain Finance
Direct Reports: 1 Assistant Management Accountant
Cedar is recruiting on behalf of a global manufacturing group for a Senior Finance Analyst to join their Operational Finance team based in Normanton. This is a high-impact role, responsible for delivering insightful analysis, supporting business performance, and leading a junior team member.
Key Responsibilities
Produce monthly reporting packs with KPIs and detailed commentary on performance drivers
Support budgeting and forecasting processes; take ownership of key areas
Partner with operations to challenge assumptions and improve cost control
Develop financial models to support strategic decisions, including CAPEX cases
Maintain integrity of reporting data through regular review and robust controls
Manage and develop an Assistant Management Accountant
Candidate Profile
ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, with strong post-qualification experience
Proven supervisory or mentoring experience
Strong commercial and operational finance background
Comfortable working with large data sets and financial modelling
SAP experience preferred
Sector experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or commodities is desirable
Advanced Excel and strong communication skills
