The school is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative Teacher of Music to join the Humanities Area of Learning. This teaching post would be equally suitable for an ECT or a teacher with a number of years of experience.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher who can demonstrate the ability to:
* Teach Music across the age and ability range at Keystage 3
* Work as part of an extended team to secure continued whole school improvement
* Contribute to the provision of extracurricular music
* Contribute to the development of a curriculum which enables young people to flourish and develop their curiosity about the world we live in.
The ability to teach another subject at KS3 or GCSE would be an advantage

Nidderdale High School and Community College is a small, mixed non-selective secondary school with approximately 350 pupils aged between 11 and 16 years. It is based in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in North Yorkshire. The school was founded in 1875 and moved into its current purpose-built premises, just outside the small town of Pateley Bridge, in 1980.
