Role Overview
The HR Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the HR team, ensuring the smooth delivery of HR services across recruitment, absence management, employee engagement, and HR systems. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting both managers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first-line HR advice to managers and employees in person, by phone, or email.

* Assist with ongoing HR projects and initiatives.
* Provide administrative support to the HR Advisor.
* Support and drive employee engagement activities.
* Advise on holiday and absence procedures.
* Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures.
* Coordinate employee long-service recognition.
* Monitor training records to ensure compliance and completion.
* Maternity/Paternity/Family leave.
