Who are we?
Since our first venue opened in 2015, Rarebreed Dining has never stopped moving and that's not going to change. Founded on the mutual love of delicious steak, British produce and mouth-watering cocktails, Rarebreed Dining has gone from strength to strength.

The job
We're looking for a talented and passionate head chef to join and lead the kitchen team. As well as your passion for cooking and all things food related, you are a creative and driven chef with an evolving interest in menu development. Through your years of experience, you have developed your own management style, which balances the calm needed to handle the pressures of the kitchen with the assertiveness to push staff to achieve their potential.
A few key responsibilities of the role include;
* To maintain consistent quality and quantity control in all aspects, from portion control to freshness of the food presented
* To have total control over the stock levels, ordering process and cleanliness of the kitchen
* To be responsible for training and development of your team to ensure everyone is utilised to the best of their potential
* To understand and comply with food hygiene regulations and HACCP, as well as COSSH trained.
You will report to the Senior Head Chef and will work closely together to ensure the kitchen team are thriving and the menu offered reflects the demand and style of our guests. It is your menu and your vision which set the tone of the venue and as a result, we want to find the right balance of personality and experience.
The nitty gritty
As you'd expect, we do have some expectations on the level of experience we require. We would hope that you;
* Have previous experience in a fine dining restaurant, being creative and led by the produce to create a fresh food menu.
* Are passionate and enthusiastic about the industry and driven to progress
* Have experience managing a team including training, development, and performance reviews.
* Have great communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
