Job Title: Utility Surveyor

Overview
Leggwork is supporting a well-established surveying consultancy delivering high‑quality utility mapping services across infrastructure, highways, construction and development projects throughout the North West.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Utility Surveyor to support the delivery of PAS128‑compliant surveys across Lancashire and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out Utility and PAS128 surveys across highways, infrastructure and development projects
* Detect and map underground services using GPR, EML and CAT & Genny equipment
* Accurately record survey information and site observations
* Process and verify survey data to ensure quality and accuracy
* Produce utility mapping deliverables in line with client specifications
* Liaise with clients, contractors and project teams on site
* Maintain high standards of health, safety and survey compliance
* Support the successful delivery of projects across Lancashire and the wider North West region
Requirements
* Previous experience delivering Utility or PAS128 surveys
* Competent using GPR and electromagnetic locating equipment
* Strong understanding of underground utility detection methodologies
* Ability to work independently and manage survey activities on site
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable
* QCF / ProQual Utility Mapping qualification
* Experience working within highways, rail, utilities or civil engineering sectors
* CAD processing experience
* CSCS Card
