The Opportunity

The pace of progress in AI development is unprecedented, with a clear trajectory towards autonomous AI-powered insurance companies. Providing insurance requires complex interconnected tasks involving structured and unstructured data, digital and human interfaces. We believe AI adoption within existing insurance companies will accelerate, leading to 10x productivity improvements. However, this future depends on 're-platforming' the industry from AI co-pilots to AI agents across the insurance value chain. With Aviva as our launch partner, we've identified a key industry problem that affects the entire sector, providing a springboard to build a platform that will redefine industry operations.


What We Offer

1. Co-found a company with Founders Factory's team of IPO-exited founders and entrepreneurs to develop a new venture.
2. Access to an expert team through our Venture Studio and a 6-month accelerator program, including a dedicated venture builder.
3. Combined cash and hands-on support from our experienced team.
4. A validated concept and intellectual property.
5. A dedicated studio budget covering founder stipends, specialist resources, and infrastructure.
6. Set and own the vision—define the long-term strategy and commercial roadmap, ensuring alignment across product, go-to-market, and capital plans.
7. Drive early traction—lead customer acquisition, build, and manage a pipeline of early adopters and strategic partners.
8. Lead customer discovery and validation—run structured customer development to test assumptions, refine value propositions, and build solutions that address real pain points.
9. Oversee pilot success and onboarding—manage rollout and success of early pilots, ensuring high-value use cases are delivered with measurable results.
10. Work closely with the CTO—translate customer and commercial needs into product direction and ensure market-fit solutions.
11. Own fundraising and investor relations—lead pre-seed and seed capital raises, build strong investor relationships, and report on milestones and traction.
12. Build the culture and team from day one—hire early team members, set ways of working, and embody the company's cultural and strategic values.
13. Act as the external face of the company—represent jointly in the market with customers, regulators, media, advisors, and partners.


Required Expertise and Skills

* Deep insurance expertise—experience within or alongside MGAs, carriers, reinsurers, or capacity brokers, understanding capacity flows.
* Founder mindset—built something from scratch or led a startup from Seed to Series A+.
* Strong commercial instinct—experience selling to enterprises, closing early design partners, or driving adoption in complex marketplaces.
* Experience in regulated or complex sectors—ideally fintech, regtech, B2B SaaS, or insurance infrastructure.
* Strategic operational skills—ability to set vision and execute plans.
* Comfort with compliance-heavy environments—navigate legal nuances efficiently.
* Excellent communication—articulate vision clearly to investors, partners, and teams.
* High trust, low ego—build strong relationships, lead transparently, and collaborate effectively.
