In your role as Head Bartender, you will work with proactive and energetic team members passionate about service. Our team is always contributing to our success by providing new ideas and being dynamic. There is always something new and fun happening making this a fulfilling place to be!
GENERAL DUTIES
* Ensure to maintain a personal attitude of a high standard and quality, which produce efficiency and productivity of the department.
* Deal with assigned projects and duties managing time in an efficient way.
* Ensure that opening and closing are completed as per agreed standards.
* Ensure that the restaurant is set up properly for each service, that the team members are following grooming standards and that all the service stations are fully stocked, clean and free of damage.
* Lead the team to ensure they provide polite and efficient service at all times, ensuring daily briefings are conducted, opening & closing duties and assigned tasks are completed, preparing floor plans, and focusing on customer service.
* Monitor the quality of product and service via spot-checks, quality checks, observation and feedback.
* Assist with clearing, re-setting tables, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and other operational duties when necessary.
* Monitor clock in and out (or sign-in and sign-out for agency) of the team members on a daily basis and take corrective actions when needed;
* Record absence, sickness, or lateness and prepare the backup documents or leave comments for payroll when necessary;
* Collaborate with the assistant manager and/or outlet manager in producing an accurate timesheet weekly.
* Collaborate with the assistant manager and/or outlet manager in monitoring and controlling PAR levels, stock ordering needs and correct ordering procedures.
* Deal with guest complaints and seek a positive outcome.
* Communicate effectively with the team, peers and higher management.
* Assist in other Food & Beverage areas as and when required.
* Responsible for creating a seasonal cocktail list
