Senior Digitalisation Engineer

As a Senior Digitalisation Project Lead at Bilfinger UK, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and managing digitalisation initiatives across various aspects of our industrial services. This position requires an understanding of technical project delivery within an industrial environment along with a strong background in digital technologies, and the ability to understand, map and evaluate business processes.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the delivery of digital projects across all Bilfinger UK business units, ensuring timely and successful execution
* Support with the development and implementation of a business-wide digitalisation strategy to drive digital transformation
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally to ensure successful implementation of digital projects
* Work across the business to implement more standardisation of solutions
Secondary Responsibilities
* Enthusiastically present and demonstrate digital solutions to internal stakeholders and customers, showcasing their benefits
* Provide training and support to internal teams relating to new digital tools and technologies
* Develop and own digital value propositions that align with business objectives and enhance overall operational efficiency
* Drive and support the strategic development of individual sites and functions within the business through the implementation of digital innovations
Skills Required:
Experience in the delivery of projects focused around business change and the application of new technologies.
* Experience in engineering, operational focused positions or industrial automation and control, and a strong understanding of digital technologies
* Experience in the execution of Change Management processes and the ability to articulate why this is important to organisational change
* Demonstrate passion for digital solutions and a clear understanding of the benefits they can bring to business operations
* Flexible approach to solutions and highly adaptable to change, with the ability to navigate evolving digital landscapes
* Commitment and willingness to carry out business trips as needed for project requirements
Desired Experience:
Experience of some or all of the following is desirable:
* Experience in engineering, operations and digital technologies
* Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial sector
* Demonstrable understanding and experience of lean management principles for process optimisation
* Familiarity with the implementation of Mobile Applications (Low Code Platforms)
* Familiarity with the implementation of MS SQL based solutions
* Dashboard Reporting Technology (e.g. PowerBI)
* Certification in Project Management (Prince2, APM)
