Summary
NRL are currently looking to recruit Mechanical Engineers at all levels to work for a client of ours on a major nuclear project in Somerset on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
1. Producing detailed design drawings, calculations, design control plans, validation & verification plans, designers risk assessments, quality plans
2. Production of or contribution to substantiation reports, operating and maintenance operating procedures in line with manufacturing specifications, equipment recovery plans, test procedures and test reports
3. Preparing technical solutions to meet customer requirements and initial concepts to provide optimal project solutions with current best practice and to the relevant standards and procedures
4. Supporting design reviews and HAZOPs
5. Maintaining and developing associated client relationships
Requirements
6. Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or related subjects
7. Chartered or Incorporated member of IMechE or equivalent or desire to work towards chartership
8. Experience of design assurance and ability to apply standards and regulations in one or more of the following technical disciplines would be preferable:Cranes/Lifting equipmentHVACPipework (designed to ASME code)Rotating plant
9. Experience of working in multidisciplinary teams
