QinetiQ is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our professional Business Winning team in the UK Intelligence Sector. The role involves managing diverse bids across domains such as National Security, Cyber, Defence, and Science & Technology. You will coordinate the bid team to secure new business and meet growth targets.

As a Bid Manager, you will lead bids following Pre-Sales Qualification, support Pre-Bid activities, and oversee the Bidding phase through to Contract Award. Your focus will be on developing compliant, high-quality, compelling responses that articulate our solutions and differentiators, involving leadership and stakeholder management across various functions.

QinetiQ offers flexible working arrangements, allowing a mix of home and office work, based on business needs, at sites including Malvern, Bristol, Farnborough, Lincoln, Amesbury, or Portsmouth.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead bid teams to respond to PQQs, ITTs, ITNs, and framework bids under tight deadlines.
* Manage virtual teams comprising QinetiQ staff and external partners.
* Ensure bids are within budget and meet customer timelines.
* Support Pre-Bid activities like Customer Intelligence and Solution Workshops.
* Focus on winning strategies, balancing price and technical quality.
* Understand customer pain points and clearly present our solutions and win themes.
* Build positive relationships across functions and solve issues collaboratively.
* Oversee proposal storyboarding, graphics, and document production.
* Coordinate review processes and ensure high-quality submissions.
* Communicate regularly with the bid team and facilitate governance processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Strong leadership and organizational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Proven bid management experience (~3+ years) and recent bid wins.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Knowledge of Shipley review processes and government procurement.
* Experience with partner/sub-contractor management.
* Familiarity with SharePoint, Kahootz, and AI tools for bid responses.
* APMP Qualification preferred.
