The candidate will be in charge of proposing for each opportunity the right engineering solution, estimate associated risks, provide an optimized costing for the proposal in collaboration with the operations department and other stakeholders.The role holder will also support the elaboration of the technical and commercial bid documentation necessary to elaborate the tender proposal in support of the mass transit business developers.The candidate will also be asked to participate to technical and commercial meetings either in order to define with the customer and other stakeholders the best solution or to present to the relevant stakeholders the proposed solution and its benefits.What You Will Do:In general, overall Bid activities in Mass Transit tenders:Proposal Development: responsible for overseeing the entire proposal development process. This includes understanding the requirements of the RFI & RFP, coordinating with various departments or teams within the organization, and ensuring that the proposal aligns with the client's needsTeam Coordination: works with a cross-functional team that may include subject matter experts, Business Developers, Product specialists, and others (support and installation...). Bid Manager coordinates the efforts of these teams to ensure that the proposal is comprehensive, accurate, and meets all the requirements of the RFPRisk Assessment: assesses the risks associated with the bid, considering factors such as technical feasibility, resource availability, Financial and cashflow and potential challenges. Work to mitigate these risks and ensure that the bid is both competitive and feasible for the organizationBudgeting and Pricing: collaborates with finance and product teams to develop competitive pricing. Quality Control: responsible for the overall quality of the proposal. They review and edit content to ensure it is clear, compelling, and error-free. They also ensure that the proposal adheres to the specified format and guidelines provided in the RFPSubmission: manages the submission process with Business developers, ensuring that all required documents are prepared and submitted on time. Client Communication: may be involved in communicating with the client during the bidding process. This could include clarifying requirements, addressing queries, and ensuring a positive relationship with the clientPost-Submission Activities: After submission, Bid Manager may be involved in debriefings, analyzing the outcomes, and identifying areas for improvement in future bidsFor recurring customers and other activities, bid manager will take the lead on different transversal actives such as :Define Library structure for different customers for Framework agreement: standard documents used for recurrent opportunitiesWork with Product teams and Business Development to define and highlight USPs of Gunnebo solutionsWork on comprehensive costing model for Gunnebo offer and simplify the pricingWho we are looking for:Ability to work in a multi-cultural environments.
