Key Responsibilities
* Provide subject matter expertise across payroll, both internally and externally for our clients
* Able to deal with advanced and complex queries from both our clients and members of the payroll team
* Line manager and support team members on a daily basis, identifying opportunities to further develop and train.
* Have prior experience of implementing new systems and payroll software
* Build and maintain relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients.
* Leverage expertise across all aspects of payroll processing, from data input to report generation.
* Identify opportunities to optimise and modernise payroll processes to aid efficiencies
* Support the Head of Payroll which may involve client queries, projects, or day to day operational requirements
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* We're seeking a candidate who is passionate about the detail and the service we provide, and is competent in all aspects of payroll processing.
* Strong leadership skills to guide and support team members, therefore prior experience of line managing is desirable.
* Excellent relationship-building skills to maintain client relationships.
* Forward-thinking and problem-solving abilities to enhance payroll processes and client experience.
* CIPP qualified is desirable for the role, but not essential

* Starting salary of up to £45,000, depending on experience
