Youll drive preventative maintenance, improve reliability, and lead a skilled team to deliver world-class performance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities Ensure production and site equipment is fully functional through planned and preventative maintenance.
Oversee statutory compliance and support continuous improvement across maintenance activities.
Lead, develop and motivate a multi-disciplinary maintenance team.
Manage maintenance budgets, contractor performance and procurement.
Deliver monthly maintenance reports and improvement action plans.
Drive Mechanical Integrity, maintenance improvement programmes and condition monitoring.
Support capital planning and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Build strong relationships with operations, engineering, suppliers and contractors.
Ensure compliance with Management of Change processes and QSHE standards.
Reduce downtime, optimise efficiency and minimise environmental impact.
What Youll Bring Essential Maintenance or engineering leadership experience within continuous manufacturing (ideally food).
Strong technical engineering knowledge and relevant 2nd level education.
Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate teams.
Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience managing compliance, Process Safety systems and maintenance standards.
Knowledge of process design, commissioning and engineering legislation (e.g., CDM, Pressure Systems, Lifting Equipment).
Strong commercial and contract management awareness.
Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP).
Desirable Financial and business acumen.
Project management and engineering standards knowledge.
Understanding of HSE/SHE regulations, PHA and RCA techniques.
