What you will do
* Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments for children, including those with complex needs, from as young as six months to older children.
* Perform tests such as otoscopy, pure tone audiometry with play audiometry and visual reinforcement, tympanometry, and otoacoustic emissions, as well as speech discrimination tests.
* Provide hearing aid services that encompass fitting, programming, maintenance, repairs, impressions, and verifying performance using techniques such as Real Ear Measurement (REM) and Real Ear to Coupler Difference (RECD).
* Manage administrative tasks including the preparation and calibration of clinic rooms and equipment, maintain accurate clinical records, generate reports, and handle referrals with precision.
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, working autonomously or under the direction of senior audiologists. Engage in peer reviews, departmental meetings, and clinical governance activities to continually improve service delivery.
* Assist with clinic logistics, stock management, and support assistant audiologists.
