Orange Door Hub Practitioner - Northern Suburbs

Salary $63.76 - $65.13 per hour (depending on expereince) + super

Benefits:

4. 3 - 6 month contract options available

About the role:

We are seeking experienced Orange Door Hub Practitioners to undertake locum contracts, ranging between for 3-6 months. Based at The Orange Door Hubs in Melbourne's Northern suburbs, the roles offer a hybrid working model, with up to 3 days working from home each week. As a key member of the multi-agency team, you'll provide critical support to individuals and families experiencing family violence or in need of child and family services.

Key Duties:

5. Undertake comprehensive risk and needs assessments for individuals and families, with a focus on adult victim survivors of family violence and children's wellbeing.
6. Develop and implement safety plans tailored to the needs of individuals and families, particularly in high-risk situations.
7. Collaborate with partner agencies including child protection, family services, specialist family violence services, and other community supports.
8. Coordinate referrals and service responses, ensuring timely and appropriate access to relevant services.
9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with professional standards and organisational requirements.
10. Apply evidence-based frameworks such as MARAM (Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management) and the Best Interests Case Practice Model.
11. Contribute to a positive team environment, supporting continuous improvement and reflective practice.

Skills and Experience:

12. Previous experience working at an Orange Door Hub is essential, with a strong understanding of the integrated service model.
13. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, or a related discipline.
14. Sound knowledge of MARAM Framework, Information Sharing Schemes, and Best Interests Case Practice Model.
15. Proven ability to conduct risk and needs assessments for both family violence and child wellbeing concerns.
16. Experience in developing and implementing safety plans in high-risk, complex situations.
17. Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
