Attenborough Arts Centre (AAC) – one of the UK’s leading centres for art and culture – welcomes over 100,000 visitors annually and champions its mission of Art For All. As we celebrate A Decade of Exhibitions in 2026, we are seeking a talented and motivated Exhibitions and Visual Arts Manager to help shape the next phase of our ambitious visual arts programme. In this key role, you will produce high‑quality exhibitions across our galleries, manage the University of Leicester’s Art Collection, and contribute to the development of a dynamic visual arts strategy. Working as part of the Senior Management Team, you will help elevate AAC’s national profile, support organisational sustainability, and ensure our programmes reflect accessibility, inclusion and artistic excellence. You will manage exhibitions from concept to deinstallation, oversee registrar duties, collaborate with artists and partners, supervise staff and technicians, and contribute to research, community, and learning programmes. This role is central to delivering AAC’s work as an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation About you We are looking for an experienced individual with proven exhibition‑producing experience, strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities and a passion for inclusive cultural practice.
