Job Requirements
* Support the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion
* Lead onsite audit teams to ensure budgets, deadlines and expectations are met
* Preparation of audit files
* Draft financial statements, ensuring compliance throughout
* Report directly to Managers and Partners
* Liaise with HMRC on work assignments
* Supervise junior staff both on site and in the office by reviewing work
* Converse clearly and effectively using software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
* Manage own workload, regularly updating Managers with work progress
* Liaise directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
* Scope out any added-value services to help support business development
* Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team
* Support the wider firm with ad hoc duties where required

The Successful Applicant
* ACCA / ACA qualified, part qualified or studying
* Qualified by experience also considered
* Proven track record of leading audit assignments within practice environment
* Good knowledge of audit software including Xero, SAGE 50, SAGE Business Cloud and Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Self-motivated, reliable and eager to progress
* A strong work ethic, time management and organisational skills
* Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team and progress within the firm
* Hands-on attitude towards building client relationships
* Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail
* Able to work confidently with senior team members
