This role operates at the centre of a high-performing, multi-cultural environment, overseeing a premium workplace and leading on a broad remit spanning operational delivery, corporate procurement, workplace technology, and strategic project execution.
This role will see you play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the workplace experience while upholding rigorous governance standards aligned to a fiduciary-led organisation. The position combines day-to-day operational oversight with long-term strategic input, including a significant forthcoming refurbishment programme and ongoing workplace transformation initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Oversee day-to-day workplace operations, including front-of-house services, hospitality, cleaning, events, and staff-facing amenities within a high-specification corporate environment
* Manage and optimise workplace services delivery through SLAs, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Lead refurbishment and reconfiguration projects, including contractor appointment, fit-out delivery, and stakeholder coordination
* Administer lease obligations and maintain effective liaison with landlords and managing agents
* Implement and enhance digital workplace solutions, including CAFM systems, user applications, and emerging technologies to streamline service delivery
* Drive innovation through automation and AI integration to improve operational efficiency and user experience
* Maintain oversight of physical security systems, ensuring robust access control and alignment with compliance requirements
* Ensure all procurement activities adhere to strict governance, audit, and ethical standards, including formal tender processes and contractor selection
* Manage workplace-related capex and opex budgets, ensuring cost control aligned with fiduciary responsibilities
* Coordinate corporate events, internal engagement initiatives, and external stakeholder hosting within a controlled and compliant setting
* Lead workplace sustainability and wellness initiatives, maintaining relevant certifications and supporting employee engagement strategies
* Act as Business Continuity lead for the office, coordinating crisis response, testing, and ISO-aligned processes
* Oversee contractor performance, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, health & safety standards, and internal policies
The successful applicant will hold a degree in Engineering, Building Services, or a STEM-related discipline, supported by extensive experience in workplace or facilities management within a corporate or financial services environment. A strong track record in refurbishment delivery, contractor management, procurement governance, and operational leadership is essential, alongside the ability to operate in a high-trust, compliance-driven setting. IOSH qualification is expected, with NEBOSH advantageous, and individuals should demonstrate both strategic capability and hands-on delivery, with the credibility to engage senior stakeholders and drive long-term workplace evolution.
