Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate full time Nursery Practitioner to join our beautiful and spacious setting in the heart of Hebburn.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in nurturing and developing young minds, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering a stimulating learning environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Create engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
* Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records of their progress.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
* Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and organised at all times.
* Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
* Drive initiatives that support children's emotional and social development.
Skills
* Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and parents.
* Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
* Leadership qualities to inspire and guide junior staff members.
* Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
* A valid driving licence may be beneficial for transportation purposes but is not mandatory.
