This is a full-time position and will be based in Charlton, MA with the potential for occasional travel to other Tree House locations.
This schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm with the potential to work beyond normal hours and weekends as necessary, with as much notice as possible.
As a Production Assistant in the Distillery, you will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities
* Assisting in the distillery with day to day tasks such as preparing grain, cleaning, and sanitizing as needed
* Following the existing Distillery detailed SOP’s and protocols
* Help with bottling and packaging operations: filling, capping, labeling, and boxing
* Assist in the movement and storage of raw materials and finished products
* Operate, clean, and maintain equipment including pumps, hoses, and labeling/packaging equipment
* Support inventory management: receiving, tracking, and organizing supplies and ingredients
* Follow all safety, sanitation, and quality control procedures
* Many other varied tasks as required throughout the distillery
Role Requirements
* Passion for craft spirits and interest in the distillation process
* Previous forklift training and experience is a plus
* Ability to push, pull, bend, and lift in excess of 50 lbs. as necessary to perform required tasks as assigned throughout the workday
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* You are self-motivated and hard-working, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
* A quick learner who is able to work with minimal or no supervision
* Ability to work long hours on your feet, with repetitive tasks that require unrelenting focus and attention
* Ability to multitask and work coolly and professionally in time sensitive situations
* Meticulous attention to detail
