Social Media & Content Manager (Maternity Cover)

Racesafe is a British brand, supplying equestrians worldwide with market-leading body protection and apparel. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our team.
THE ROLE
In this role, you will be central in developing and executing Racesafe’s digital, content and social media strategy.
* Oversee social media content from planning, creation and execution.
* Plan and publish across multiple platforms to grow Racesafe’s audience and drive engagement.
* Day-to-day management of social media accounts, including paid advertising.
* Developing our brand ambassador program.
* Updating the website with new content and imagery.
* Artwork creation (digital and print communications).
* Writing engaging and persuasive content for a variety of media.
* Design, creation, and distribution of email marketing campaigns and automation.
* Assist with product development work and launches.
* Produce regular reports and communicate results to monitor the progression of the marketing strategy.
* Working on the launch and growth of new B2C & B2B brands.
THE CANDIDATE
We are looking for someone who lives and breathes content and loves social media. Ideally, this is in the Equestrian world, which you will be both passionate and knowledgeable about. You will be proactive and driven, and understand the importance of social media as a communication channel. Your ability to think both creatively and analytically makes you the ideal candidate to produce content and help drive the Racesafe brand.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
You will have excellent communication skills and buckets of creativity with the ability to develop original content and an effective strategy. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and has the following experience:
* Qualifications or relevant experience in marketing, digital, communications, or a related field is desirable.
* Excellent knowledge of social media platforms.
* Sound equestrian experience and knowledge of the equestrian calendar and media is a distinct advantage.
* Experience in or knowledge of paid digital advertising would be advantageous.
* Knowledge of influencer marketing.
* Experience using adobe creative cloud software would be helpful.

This is a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract, with the potential for extension or to develop into a longer-term role as our team continues to grow.
The position is full time with a competitive salary based on experience. The role will be preferably office-based at our HQ in Corby, Northamptonshire, though a hybrid working arrangement may be available. For the right candidate to take on Racesafe’s digital, content and social media vision, there is flexibility in the role and the experience required.
