Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development, contracting and delivery of an assigned programme.
* Manage all aspects of programme governance and ensure individual projects are effectively defined, resourced and coordinated.
* Oversee the performance of a matrix team, developing their capability to meet programme milestones while managing risk and dependencies.
* Engage stakeholders strategically, championing programme‑management best practices throughout the organisation.
About You
* Programme manager with proven experience delivering complex programmes, ideally within science, engineering or R&D environments.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to influence and build confidence across diverse collaborators.
* Capacity to drive benefits realisation and deliver tangible, real‑world benefits for the UK.
* Skilled at coordinating, monitoring and steering individual projects to maintain alignment with programme objectives.
* Desirable but not essential is an MSP Practitioner qualification; essential is proficiency in programme and project‑management techniques and the ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams.
* Excellent communication skills, able to present complex information clearly to varied audiences.
