Seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a Communications Faculty. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment in line with the ethos of an independent school.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess English lessons across KS3KS5, ensuring adaptive teaching for all ability levels.
* Develop and update the English curriculum, incorporating new teaching methods and statutory requirements.
* Organise English-related trips and excursions, including to English-speaking countries.
* Monitor and support students with Special Needs and Gifted & Talented learners, liaising with Learning Support where needed.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress, providing interventions and feedback as necessary.
* Collaborate with the Head of Communications Faculty on curriculum development, assessment policies, and resource management.
* Attend faculty meetings, parents evenings, and school events as required.
