We are supporting a Tier 1 Contractor working on the enabling works at the Sizewell C project. We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to ensure all site activities are planned and executed safely, supporting compliance and best practice across this high-profile infrastructure programme.
The Role:
Act as the on-site Health & Safety lead for enabling works packages.
Ensure works are safely planned and delivered, in line with company and statutory requirements.
Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments; monitor compliance with RAMS and permit systems.
Support site management and delivery teams with proactive safety advice and training.
Investigate incidents, produce reports, and drive continuous improvement.
Liaise with client representatives and stakeholders to maintain high safety standards.
Experience Required:
Proven experience as a Health & Safety Advisor on large civil engineering projects (roads, earthworks, infrastructure).
Strong knowledge of enabling works and site safety planning.
NEBOSH qualification and valid CSCS card essential.
Excellent communication and influencing skills; able to engage teams and promote a positive safety culture.
Must be flexible to work nights and weekends on site as required by project demands
