Multi: Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Salary: GBP53,000. Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days and Nights, 6am-6pm). Hours: 42 per week.
Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping production running smoothly? We're looking for a Multi: Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and improving our manufacturing operations.
What You'll Do
* Ensure the continuous running of production by eliminating downtime through safe, logical fault finding and maintenance.
* Work on a variety of equipment, including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems.
* Carry out planned and reactive engineering activities on-site.
What We're Looking For
* Apprentice: trained in a similar position (ideal).
* Electrical qualifications such as C and G 2320 P1 and P2, ONC, NVQ 3, 18th Edition or equivalent.
* Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Practical, hands-on approach with experience in:
* Electrical fault finding and defect rectification.
* Routine maintenance activities.
* Mechanical fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics (advantageous).
* Ability to diagnose maintenance problems and provide accurate recommendations.Excellent communication skills to work effectively with operatives and team leaders.
* PLC knowledge is a plus.
