We’re searching for a motivated and friendly individual to join a market-leading client, as a Customer Service Officer. In this role, you'll act as the first point of contact for customers and partners, offering support and guidance throughout their experience with us, from initial enquiry to final resolution.
You'll be central to delivering a professional and supportive service, playing a vital part in shaping positive customer outcomes and reinforcing loyalty. Key Responsibilities
* Handling inbound and outbound customer calls with professionalism and empathy
* Keeping customer records accurate and up to date using internal systems
* Responding to queries and resolving basic concerns at first point of contact
* Managing initial stages of customer complaints and escalating where necessary
* Providing relevant information to customers and referral partners
* Supporting payment processes and completing administrative tasks
* Ensuring all actions reflect regulatory expectations around fairness and duty of care
What You’ll Bring
* A minimum of two years in a customer-facing environment
* Strong communication and listening skills
* Confident with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel
* Organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
* A supportive and solution-focused approach when handling challenging situations
* Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* A patient and professional attitude, especially over the phone
* Ability to meet deadlines and contribute to team performance goals
