Telent's Network Services division is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our successful Engineering team based in Southampton. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a talented team of Cloud, Network, and Security specialists, supporting your growth and development as a Cloud Engineer through challenging projects.
The Cloud Engineer will develop and maintain technical relationships with internal and external customers, providing proactive service in service delivery and acting as a bridge between engineering and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

Cloud Engineer - Responsibilities include:
* Training internal staff and customers on products and solutions.
* Supporting Professional Services and Sales within Network Services.
* Monitoring and reporting on customer incidents.
* Highlighting trends, security threats, and technical bulletins impacting customers.
* Managing documentation related to customer platforms and Telent Cloud Services.
* Following internal and external processes for tasks, reporting, and changes.
* Assisting with Proof of Concept scenarios, Type Approval activities, and lab testing.
* Creating technical documentation such as TA, POC, RFC, WI, and SoW.
* Performing peer reviews of technical documents.
* Pre-staging equipment for customer site installations.
* Participating in customer meetings and reviews.
* Ensuring accurate and timely timesheet submissions.
* Aligning certifications and training with business goals.
* Completing overtime and expenses accurately.
* Adhering to GDPR and security policies.
Who you are:
The ideal candidate will have an interest in Cloud technologies, including some knowledge of Azure, Linux, MS SCCM, and MS Exchange, with support experience in medium to large IT environments and on-premise Cloud Services.
* VCP 6.x-DCV (Desirable)
* MCSA: Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or above
* Networking Concepts
* Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or above, with clustering and availability groups
* Azure MFA and Identity Services
* Microsoft System Configuration Manager
* Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 or above
* VMware vCloud Director
* Leadership qualities and a proactive attitude
