About the role:
As the successful Registered Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional person-centred care services that empower their customers to live independently and with dignity. You will be accountable for the operational performance of the service, ensuring compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations, and providing effective leadership to your team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality services that align with our strategic objectives and meet the aspirations of our customers, focusing on achieving a minimum CQC rating of Good and working towards Outstanding.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the care service, ensuring that all aspects meet regulatory compliance and best practise standards.
Lead and support your staff team, providing clear guidance on roles and responsibilities while fostering a supportive and collaborative culture.
Engage in proactive growth identification and financial management to maintain service viability.
Oversee the recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of staff, actively involving customers in their support planning and staff selection.
About you:
You will be an experienced CQC Registered Manager, preferably in services for adult with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs. You will have a strong understanding of CQC regulatory requirements and experience in undergoing inspections. You will hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Adult Social Care or an equivalent qualification. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage difficult situations with professionalism. You will also have a commitment to promoting equality and social change, demonstrating a high level of confidence around disability and a passion for person-centred care.
