The role is to work within in a team, setting up multiple traffic management sites on a daily basis.
Working to the site specification as arranged by the Traffic Management Supervisor
Adhering to Health & Safety guidelines as outlined by the Company
Installing temporary traffic management such as traffic signals, lane closures & road closure.
Plan your own work for the day Communicate with excavation teams Assist with installation of road closure advertisement boards
Being part of a paid On-call system Rapid response for emergency utility works
This is a very busy working environment and we offer ongoing paid overtime (both weekend work and out of hours)
Full training is provided to allow progression throughout the company
About The Role
The set up and ongoing maintenance of cones, traffic lights and warning signs to implement lane and road closures
Ensuring lorry is fully equipped for each TM set up before leaving in the morning and all equipment is accounted for on returning to the yard
Working on numerous Utility contracts, including Northern Ireland Water / BT Openreach / Northern Ireland Electricity
Any adhoc duties as required within the realms of Traffic Management
Required Qualifications
12D Lantra Training, Full Driving License, B+E Trailer License, CSR Card
Essential Skills
6 Months Experience in Traffic Management, Setting up- 12D Lane Closures, Road Closures, 2,3,4 way Traffic
Systems, Stop/Go.
B+E Trailer License
Communication Skills
Desirable Skills
Use of SRL Traffic Lights, Working as part of a team, Working to a deadline, 12A/B Training, Leadership skills
