We are looking to recruit a Supervising Social Worker for a Private Fostering Agency. Our client has a well-structured and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. The role offers flexible working hours and has a supportive team culture with regular supervision on cases. Main duties include:
Recruit, assess and monitor the suitability of Foster Carers.
Support Foster Carers to evidence their competence against training standards.
Provide and record regular supervision in line with the agency's operational standards.
Undertake support visits.
Contribute to Foster Carer Annual Reviews within required timescales.
Ensure that the Foster Carers have an accurate and up to date Foster Care Agreement
Identify learning and development needs
Undertake initial visits and carer assessments
Attend meetings to support Foster Carers, children and young people.
Assist in the delivery of training.
Out of Hours duty system on a rota basis - £35 per day.
