Overview
We are one of the world’s leading engineering and professional services firms. Our Commercial and Technical Advisory team delivers advisory services on built assets from acquisition through construction and operation to disposal. The Building Surveyor will support service delivery and contribute to project work for a diverse client base, including major investors, funders, developers, asset operators, national government agencies, local authorities and healthcare trusts.
Responsibilities
* Embracing the responsibility of service delivery as a Building Surveyor
* Contributing to the continued success and growth of the team
* Delivering a client facing advisory service to a high standard
* Carrying out various types of building survey work and undertaking project work for clients
* Preparing planning and building regulations applications, tender documents and contract administration using NEC3 and other contract suites
* Working with clients across sectors in education, healthcare, residential and commercial properties
Qualifications
* Newly Chartered Building Surveyor or working towards MRICS qualification with demonstrable post-graduation experience
* Ability to motivate oneself to meet WSP and client objectives
* Self-performance to maximise contribution with high-quality, timely delivery
* Commitment to achieving team and business unit objectives
* Understanding the financial impact of work
Team and Location
The role can be based out of London or Birmingham and may involve travel. We support MRICS qualification progress and provide guidance to secure relevant experience for a successful application. The Commercial and Technical Advisory team serves clients across multiple sectors, including hospitals, schools, residential and commercial properties.
