Vehicle Technician
Location: Kettering
Salary: up to £35,000 basic plus bonus and additional benefits
We have an opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join my client’s family run workshop in Kettering. Due to increased workload, they are looking for an additional Vehicle Technician to join the team.
Job Summary
* Experience of light commercial would be preferred
* 40 hr week - Monday - Friday
* Electric Vehicle (EV) Training levels 1-4 for specific roles
* Accreditations provided
* Flexible working schedule
Requirements for this Vehicle Technician role are:
* Qualified to IMI/NVQ level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, City and Guilds Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance, Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, City & Guilds Automotive
* Have experience working within a car dealership or an independent garage/car supermarket
* Completed your MOT tester course class 1, 2, 4 or 7
* Experience of working on commercial vehicles/LCV/cars
* Ideally Hybrid/EV trained but if not training will be provided
Key responsibilities for this Vehicle Technician role are:
* Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard
* As a Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic you will carry out all work completely and effectively
