Vacancy - Mechanical Assembler on a twilight shift.
Our client based locally in Stonehouse is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join them on their Twilight Shift - Full time working shift split across the days of Monday- Wed 14:00-00:30 and 14:00-23:30 (Thurs). The position would ideally suit someone with a flexible attitude to work and a desire to add to their existing skills set.
Responsibilities:
* The role will include the full assembly of parts pre and post paint
* Follow work orders, ability to read production drawings and sample assemblies to ensure items are assembled correctly
* Report on stock levels as required
* Packaging and dispatch of products as required
* Checking and reporting goods in as required
Requirements:
* Good ability to work quickly and diligently.
* Confident with use of handheld mechanical tools for assembling components.
* Self-motivated and able to work individually or as part of a team and prioritise their own workload
* A positive hands-on approach with previous experience in a similar role
* Ability to work in a safe manner following health, safety, environment and quality guidelines and instructions
* Excellent communication and time management skills
