Yorkshire Marine Nature Partnership is looking for a passionate and pro-active individual to help deliver the National Lottery-funded REConnect project. You'll lead workstreams focussed on connecting people to the coastline in North Yorkshire around the River Esk, supporting volunteers, managing project activities, and promoting sustainability through community engagement.
Responsibilities
* Lead workstreams focussed on connecting people to the coastline in North Yorkshire around the River Esk.
* Support volunteers and manage project activities.
* Promote sustainability through community engagement.
* Build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders—from scientists and community leaders to volunteers and partner organisations.
* Work across multiple workstreams, using initiative to keep things moving and adapt to changing priorities.
Qualifications and qualities
* Strong understanding of Yorkshire's marine and coastal environments and the wider social and economic issues affecting the Esk and Coastal Streams Catchment.
* Experience in project development and delivery.
* Skilled communicator able to engage diverse stakeholders.
* Resilient, proactive, and confident working across multiple workstreams.
