✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* Lead and manage the safety strategy across our HMPPS estate, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and HMPPS standards.
* Drive standardisation and consistency across DHL Workshop environments.
* Promote a proactive Safety First culture, championing continuous improvement and outstanding safety performance.
* Provide direct leadership to safety teams, fostering high performance and professional development.
* Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, both internal and external, to deliver collaborative safety solutions.
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
* NEBOSH General Certificate (essential).
* Proven health and safety experience in a logistics environment.
* Ability to travel regionally and beyond as operational needs dictate.
* Comfortable working within a prison environment.
* Strong line management experience with a track record of developing teams.
