A little more about your role…
As the Technical Director, you will lead a specialist team within WSP's Civil Engineering discipline. To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in the nuclear industry, including new build and generation projects, and will play a key role in delivering high-quality design and safety solutions. Your day-to-day will include doing the following:
1. Operational Leadership: Manage and direct a division of cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring high performance and quality deliverables.
2. Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for the team.
3. Engineering Management: Oversee multi-disciplinary engineering projects, ensuring adherence to technical and safety standards.
4. Nuclear Projects: Working on SMR and GW scale new build nuclear projects and nuclear generation projects.
5. Sector & Client Development: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining and developing strong relationships to secure new business.
