Are you a driven social care law specialist looking to make a difference in the public sector? Venn Group is working with a positive and welcoming legal team in a London Borough in their pursuit of a Adult Social Care Lawyer on a locum basis for an initial 3-month period.
Requirements:
Qualified Lawyer, with a valid practising certificate in the UK
Specialism within Adult Social Care Law, with experience of practising post-qualification
Experience working for any public sector organisation or local authority
Duties/Responsibilities:
Advising on all matters of adult social care law, including court of protection
Advising on areas of law such as the Mental Capacity Act, deputyship
Attending and preparing for advocacy, advocacy is not a prerequisite for this role, but you can do if you like
Representing the Borough and external clients as appropriate
Deputise for senior members of the legal team as appropriate
