As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Pre-Construction Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our projects from inception to execution. The Pre-Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing all pre-construction activities related to Mechanical & Electrical projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to ensure projects are effectively planned, budgeted, and prepared for successful execution. Main Responsibilities Project Planning: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive pre-construction plans, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Budgeting and Estimation: Conduct detailed cost estimations and budget analyses for Mechanical & Electrical components of construction projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness while adhering to project requirements and company standards. Bid Management: Lead the bid management process, including the preparation of tender documents, bid submissions, and negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms. Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize project costs, improve efficiency, and enhance project quality while meeting client requirements and industry standards. Risk Management: Assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts on project timelines, costs, and quality. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards to ensure all pre-construction activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Client Collaboration: Act as a primary point of contact for clients during the pre-construction phase, addressing inquiries, providing technical expertise, and fostering positive relationships to ensure client satisfaction. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the pre-construction team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment while promoting continuous learning and professional development. Technology Integration: Utilize industry-leading software and technology tools to streamline pre-construction processes, enhance productivity, and improve project outcomes. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of pre-construction activities, prepare comprehensive reports, and communicate project status updates to internal stakeholders and clients as needed. Mandatory requirement for all roles - to comply with GDPR Principles Knowledge/experience Required Proven experience in pre-construction management within the Mechanical & Electrical industry, with a strong understanding of construction processes, practices, and standards. Proficiency in construction management software, cost estimation tools, and MS Office Suite. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders. Analytical mindset with the ability to critically evaluate project requirements, identify solutions, and make data-driven decisions. Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry best practices. Ability to travel to project sites as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field. {Desirable}
