PROJECT ENGINEER
London - 3 days in office
12 months contract
Project Engineer is required by a leading global engineering, design, and project management consultancy to support a major airport transformation programme. The organisation is internationally recognised for delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across the UK and globally and is known for its strong engineering heritage, collaborative culture, and commitment to safety and sustainability.
You will manage design coordination, including reviewing contractor drawings and specialist input via Aconex, closing out comments, and responding to technical design queries. The role involves overseeing on-site construction to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, identifying defects, and managing NCRs through to resolution.
Required Skills
* Proven experience delivering MEP - ideally within aviation or major transport infrastructure
* Experience working within a live airport or aviation environment
* Strong experience in design coordination and use of document control systems such as Aconex
* Strong civil engineering background, including groundworks and piling
* Experience delivering structural works, particularly steel frame buildings, bridges, and heavy lifting operations
