Our client is a market leading manufacturing business, which has over 25 sites throughout the globe.
Job Description
You will be working as part of a small finance team of 3 and will be reporting into the Finance Director. You will be based from the manufacturing site at Castleford (4 days PW and 1 day PW from home). After you have received all the necessary training, your duties will be very varied, and will include, but will not be limited to:
3. Assisting in management accounting data collection
4. Month end journal preparation and posting
5. Maintaining the fixed asset register
6. Updating the cashbook
7. Bank reconciliations
8. Assisting with quarterly VAT returns
9. Producing weekly sales reports
10. Sales ledger reporting
11. Assisting with payroll preparation
12. Credit control
13. Supporting with driving improvements across the finance function
The Successful Applicant
To apply for this position you must:
14. have a minimum of 12 months' experience of working in finance
15. be studying an accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA or AAT)
16. have excellent communication skills
17. the right to work in the UK
