Were excited to welcome a new GP to our friendly, forward-thinking team. Whether you're an experienced GP or an ST3 approaching CCT, we have a flexible opportunity for 35 sessions per week, offered as either a salaried role or partnership, depending on your preference.
Located in East Kilbride, just outside Glasgow, Mavor Medical Practice serves a predominantly urban population of around 9,800 patients. Were based in the purpose-built Hunter Community Health Centre, a modern facility shared with four other GP practices, district nurses, treatment room staff, dentists, and pharmacistsencouraging collaborative, multidisciplinary care.
Our team consists of
1. 6 GP Partners
2. 2 Practice nurses and 1 ANP
3. Practice Manager
4. Full administrative support team
5. Numerous GP trainees
Our practice has a strong culture of teaching and mentorship, and all partners currently contribute to teaching. At present we support GPST training, medical student placements and will be embarking on Foundation training from August 2026. An interest in teaching is welcomed but not essential.

6. Clinical Systems Vision Hosted & Docman
7. Meetings - Daily informal clinical tea breaks, weekly Practice Meeting, Bi-monthly evening Business Meetings, monthly Palliative Care Meeting.
8. Appointment Length: 15 minutes for face to face (F2F)
9. Varied working Day - Mix of triage, telephone consultations & F2F, visiting and on-call sessions, we currently operate an extended hours service.
