Overview
We are looking for a passionate and strategic leader to become the next Chief Executive of Out There. This is a pivotal role, leading both the day-to-day running of the organisation and shaping our future direction.
Based in Trafford, we support families across Greater Manchester who have a family member in prison. Each year, we support over 200 families in their own home and in the community. In addition we work with children and young people in school who are impacted by the imprisonment of a family member. Through strong partnerships across the criminal justice system, we offer broader support to people in the criminal justice system from our welcoming community hub. We believe it’s often the small things that make the biggest difference – whether that be help with some of the financial impacts of familial imprisonment or the connection of meeting others in a similar situation.
You can find out more about our work at www.outtherecharity.org
If you would like to make a difference and have the vision, skills and experience to lead this small but important organisation, we would love to hear from you.
Please download the job pack (https://tinyurl.com/3f25thc6) and send us your application (CV and a Supporting Statement addressing the person specification) to recruitment@outtherecharity.org
Interviews: Tuesday 21 October, in person at our Hub
For an informal conversation about the role, please contact the Chair or Vice Chair of our Board of Trustees at recruitment@outtherecharity.org
