To maintain the exceptional standard of service that defines Sherpa, we are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to orchestrate the coordination, support, and ongoing engagement of our contractor network. Role Overview Based Remotely or in our Bedford HQ This is a part-time orchestration and coordination role responsible for managing and supporting our team of contractors. While account managers oversee contractors from a client-delivery standpoint, this role focuses on ensuring our contractors are empowered, resourced, and supported to perform at their best. You’ll act as the key point of contact for operational, administrative, and engagement-related matters, ensuring a seamless contractor experience and optimal resourcing. Key Responsibilities 1. Contractor Onboarding * Coordinate onboarding logistics for new contractors. * Ensure they receive necessary tools, access, and Sherpa business orientation. * Liaise with account managers to facilitate role-specific training. 2. Operational Support & Resource Enablement * Regularly check in with contractors on project status and resource needs. * Confirm they have correct calendar invites, access, and project templates. * Gather and review status updates for internal reporting. 3. Administrative Oversight * Ensure completion and tracking of NDAs, contracts, timesheets, and other compliance documentation. * Maintain accurate contractor records and documentation. 4. Contractor Point of Contact * Serve as first responder for contractor questions about internal processes, tools, or external suppliers. 5. Pipeline & Resource Management * Track upcoming work and ensure resourcing aligns with demand. * Identify gaps and source additional contractor support as needed. * Conduct initial screening interviews for new contractor candidates. 6. Contractor Engagement * Host weekly group calls to foster connection, share updates, and provide professional development insights. * Drive engagement and alignment with Sherpa’s culture, goals, and values. * Champion contractor feedback and advocate for improvements in their experience. Qualifications * Proven experience in project coordination, contractor/vendor management, or operations (agency experience a plus). * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Comfortable managing remote, international teams. * Proficient with project management tools. * Ability to juggle multiple tasks and stakeholders with poise and clarity. * A proactive mindset and strong sense of accountability.
