Job Title: Business Development Manager

Business Development Managers play a key role within the commercial team, hunting down new leads, bringing new business into our clients company, and playing a crucial role in managing customer relationships. You should work well with internal support functions and other members of the team, sharing ideas and success stories.

The Role:

Business Development Managers tasks and responsibilities are outlined below; these should be applied in conjunction with Head of Sales and align with company objectives. Additional responsibilities can be added as requested.

New Business

1. Hunt down new business and follow up any leads

2. Lease with customers to understand security requirements

3. Manage customer expectations and build relationships

4. Hit new business targets set by Head of Sales

Operational Support

1. Attend sites and carry out site survey’s/risk assessments

2. Ensure a smooth process for the client and business from order to cash

3. Lease closely with operations for solution selling and project mobilisation

Administration

1. Weekly Forecasting of opportunities and pipeline

2. Attend weekly calls with sales team and quarterly reviews

3. Update CRM system with any new contacts and leads

4. Follow processes pre installation and mobilisation’s
