Job Title: Cover Manager
Location: St Mary\'s Catholic College
Responsible To: SLT Cover Lead
Salary: Grade Band G, SCP 19 - 24, £32,061 - £35,412 (£27,822 - £30,729 actual)
Contract: 2 year fixed, full-time 36 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only plus INSET days)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities
* Coordinate and allocate daily cover arrangements for planned and unplanned staff absence.
* Start day responsibilities include a 7.15am start.
* Line management of the Cover Supervisor and Supply Teacher team.
* Supervise whole classes during short-term absence of teachers.
* Maintain good order and keep students on task to progress through the planned curriculum.
* Ensure cover resource is deployed effectively and supervise students engaged in learning activities.
* Provide objective and accurate feedback to the teacher on the conduct of the lesson.
