We have an opportunity for a Readymix Plant Supervisor to join our busy team in Huddersfield on a full time, permanent basis.
Myers Readymix have just purchased a New £2m state of the art Liebherr Readymix Plant and we are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and motivated individual to help run our Brand New Flagship Plant
Our Readymix business was established in 1959 in Huddersfield and has 3 plants throughout Yorkshire where we provide quality concrete for domestic, agricultural and commercial projects. Myers Readymix, is part of the Myers Group employing around 370 employees around West Yorkshire.

As our Readymix Plant Supervisor your main duties and key responsibilities will include:
* Manage a busy Readymix operation
* Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance
* Support the production of readymix concrete
* Deliver the highest standards of customer service
* Undertake daily, weekly, monthly plant inspections
* Maintain quality control throughout the production process
* Use of mobile plant, loading shovel, forklift truck (full training provided)
* Undertake routine maintenance on the Readymix Plant
* Stock management
* General housekeeping duties
* Support the Quality Manager with sampling of concrete
Preferred skills, experience and attributes:
* Understanding of concrete plants (or similar operations) beneficial
* Mobile plant experience would be an advantage although training will be provided
* Excellent approach to Health & Safety
* Able to work on own initiative
* Must be flexible and driven
* Work as part of a team
