Major Recruitment are looking to hire a reliable and motivated CNC Grinder to join our clients skilled team in Hinckley. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy and supportive environment using a variety of modern CNC machines. Full Time Permanent Monday to Friday 3 shifts avaliable 07:00 - 14:30 / 15:30 - 01:00 / 20:00 - 05:00 Overtime: Available at x1.5 (after standard hours) Role Summary You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC grinding machines, working with a wide range of component types and batch sizes. While experience is preferred, full training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and mechanical aptitude. Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC grinding machines (e.g., Doosan, James & Shipman, Mazak, Fanuc-controlled equipment) Read and interpret technical drawings to meet customer and internal specifications Inspect finished components for quality and conformance using appropriate measuring equipment Work to production schedules and deadlines, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum accuracy Carry out basic machine maintenance and cleaning What We're Looking For Previous experience in CNC grinding or similar precision machining role preferred Ability to read engineering drawings and follow job sheets Strong attention to detail and a focus on producing quality work Willingness to learn new processes and systems (full training provided) Capable of working independently and within a team Benefits Permanent, full-time position Overtime available at time and a half Opportunity to work on a wide variety of components and subcontracted projects Clean, modern, and supportive working environment Long-term career progression and training opportunities within a well-respected engineering company How to Apply If you're interested in joining a growing and well-established engineering business, please apply with your CV INDAS
