An exciting opportunity for a Theatre Scrub Practitioner at the Yorkshire Clinic Private Hospital in Bingley. We seek a passionate individual to join our Theatre Team.
The successful candidate will have NMC/HCPC registration and experience in a similar role, with the ability to work well in a team. Excellent communication skills are essential to ensure high standards of care for patients during their perioperative phase.
The hospital offers care to in-patients and day-case patients with eight operating theatres for various surgical procedures, including Orthopaedics, General surgery, Bariatric surgery, Plastics, Urology, ENT, Angiography, Cardiac, and Gynaecology for Private and NHS patients.
Main duties of the job
To succeed, you need a strong clinical background in acute surgical care. We seek a dynamic individual to ensure the Theatre department is Safe, Effective, Responsive, Caring, and Well Led.
The successful candidate will collaborate with the Theatre team, building relationships with staff, consultants, and stakeholders, driving excellence in safety and quality of care.
They will support the Quality agenda by monitoring standards, identifying risks, and planning improvements.
Essential experience and qualifications
* ODP/NMC Registration
* Understanding of clinical standards
* Organisational and communication skills
* Registered with HCPC/NMC
