We are now seeking a organised and detail-oriented Goods Receiver to join our Back of House team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth delivery and storage of stock for all hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities
Receive all deliveries to the hotel, checking quantities, quality, and specifications against purchase orders.
Record and process all incoming goods accurately, ensuring correct documentation and compliance with procedures.
Liaise with the Head Goods Receiver regarding discrepancies, damages, or short deliveries.
Ensure safe handling, correct labelling, and appropriate storage of all goods, including chilled, frozen, and dry products.
Maintain stock rotation (FIFO) to minimise waste and ensure product freshness.
Support the purchasing and finance team with accurate records for invoices and delivery notes.
Uphold the highest standards of manual handling, health, safety, and hygiene in all receiving and storage areas.
Work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams to ensure stock is delivered promptly where required.
Carry out regular checks of storage areas, reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
What Were Looking For
Previous experience as a Goods Receiver, Store Person, or in a similar role within hospitality or retail.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
Knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
