Role Description
This is a temporary on-site role for a Christmas Temp Chef De Partie located at The Goods Yard in Broadstone, Poole. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, managing sections of the kitchen, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. Daily tasks include assisting the head chef, supervising junior kitchen staff, monitoring inventory, and contributing to menu planning and development. The contract starts mid November and runs through to January 2nd, with Christmas Day and Boxing Day guaranteed off
Qualifications
* Exceptional cooking skills and experience in food preparation and plating
* Ability to manage a kitchen section efficiently and assist the head chef
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
* Strong working knowledge of various cooking techniques and ingredients
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry preferred
* Formal culinary training or relevant certifications are a plus
